best bit of advice i have had is look at the size of your fishes mouths in your tank, if the fry can fit in there mouths keep them in the box, if they would cant fit in they should be ok. as long as its not an over aggressive tank.

I agree look at other fishes mouth's.
What fry are they what breed?
What other fish are in the tank you will be putting the fry in to?
