After about 4-5 months of no fry, I now have around 35 mosquito fish(gambusia) fry to look after! My female looked as if she were going to pop yesterday, so I moved her to my "nursery" tank. About an hour later, she gave birth to around 35 fry! All are alive, and none were stillborn, etc. They have those little "stripe" lines on their eyes and are so cute ! Just wanted to share!
I'll probably move them to my 29 gallon when they're about a month old, and then just keep them as "pets", lol ! I'll seperate the males from the females of course, but I'll select a few nice ones for breeding when I purchase some more mosquito fish to keep the lines seperate(aka I don't want them to inbreed ).
