New Fishless Cycle

Hi people
Just a quick question.
I'm doing a fishless cycle using the add and wait method. From first adding the ammonia, how long will it normally take to start coming down? Thanks

There's no set period, but you should start to see some movement within a week. If you can blag some mature filter media from somewhere (friend, LFS, whatever), then that should speed things up.
