NEW FISH

i just got back from my LFS to get my dad some convicts for "his" birthday...They are a marble/stripe mix and seem to be doing fine....Well they have a new worker there, who helped me...He seems not to know much about what he is doing...but I do appreciate his work! He gave me a blue CT(first i have ever seen there) for 2 bucks and a clown plecostomusfor an unbelieable cost of a common plec which is 4 dollars.....I saw a larger on in another tank for $50) I seems happy with my purchases!

Awesome I have n LFS near me who don't label their fish right, so I get fish for dirt cheap some times I got a network syno (or featherfin syno, I'm not sure) for $4 , and they gave me 2 $14 bichirs for $20 The fish are all very healthy too

Yea...its awesome when you get great deals...how are my tank set-ups? anything i should add? I think i want more clown plecs...thats such a good deal Good they get along with my convicts? or do they have to be all alone....

Cool deal!

Not sure that I would keep the CT betta in the same tank with the parrots and danios. Those long flowing fins may be just too tempting to nip at.

Do you think i can get more Clown Plecs? Do they breed easy and I need more info on them...sexing, breeding, feeding ect.

Bshock, how big do the chocolate albinos get? I just saw some at my petsmart and liked them, was wondering if I could keep one in a 45XH with two BPs, cories, and serpae tetras.

well mine is about 3"...I think they get like 8-10".....but i donno?
