New Fish?

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes, when you bring a new fish home, they act strange for a couple of weeks? Anyone experience any really weird behavior? For example, when I brought my hybrid swordtails home, I was really surprised, when they both went crazy every time I turned the tank lights off. They would fly around the tank as fast as they could and run into the glass and other things in the tank. They did this every night for the first couple weeks, before they eventually got use to the lights turning off.

I think being dumped into a totally new enviornment would send me a bit cookoo. But, I suppose its just one of those tings.

I suppose it depends on what life they're used to from the LFS. I find a fish can change drastically from the one you bought, once it's set up a territorial hierarchy, made a domain and gotten used to things.

My brother bought me some Corys a few days ago and one of them is acting strange. While 3 of them are acting the way I've seen Corys act in shops and videos the other one just sits around doing nothing, barely moves all day
