I'm slowly stocking a new 65g tall and picked up a bunch of Asian Rummynose the other day. I've never had these before but they should be interesting with blue bodies and little red noses when they mature.

I'm hoping to pick up a couple of rainbow fish in 3 or 4 weeks. By that time the tank should be stabilised with the newcomers and ready to take them. With the guppies, cardinals, bristlenose & albino bristlenose and panda corries that are already in the tank that'll be it.

Lots of activity, lots of colour and well within the tank stocking load!

It's been a long haul.

Those are the sawbwa resplendens, are they not? I'd be very interested in hearing how they get on in your tank, and particularly if they take dry food.

They are indeed sawbwa resplendens. I'm feeding everyone Hikari fancy guppy, Nutrafin flakes and the odd bit of dried bloodworms. The rummynose seem quite happy with it.

Ooo, that's interesting. I've been thinking about them, but been put off by the thought that they might be fussy eaters (not knowing a lot about them).

I've got 9 of them, lovely little fish, simple but striking colouring. I have mine in with some Boraras maculata (dwarf rasbora) and they all get finely crushed flake. All seem to enjoy it.

Not a common fish in the aquarium trade from what I understand only ever seen them once so I bought the lot!
