New Fish With Dropsy

Hi,

I added a second group of platties into a new fishless cycled tank (first 3 had been in a week). Within one to two days, most of the new six appeared to have dropsy. Bloated, hiding, lack of appetite, they have been treated and I have lost none, quite suprised, I thought I was going to.

Can I assume due to time span they came from the lfs with it, or is it possible it could be the stress of the transport (my drivings not that bad...), new tank conditions etc?

And with them all appearing fit and healthy how long before I can add more fish?

Try some shelled peas they might be constipated.
