Be careful when you pick the lookalike ornaments. They are costly and tend to need a lot more maintenance than they lead you to believe.
The long tenticle anemones and miricle plants... They grow algae and nasty stuff like crazy! Also you have to remove them pretty often to clean. The water under them/ in them gets pretty nasty.
Medications soak into them and stain them also. Another point to look at is that if you clean them often to keep the nastyness out then they wear out much faster. Mine only lasted about 6-8 months before they started to look really bad and needed replaced. The tenticles and things started to fall out.
You may never have any of these problems, but I did. It is just something to be aware of. It can happen.
Also alot of them have sharp edges that can cause injury to your fish. Choose carefully. It can look really good if done right, I am only saying these things so you will be aware of some things that you could be faced with.
Good luck :good:
