you can sell fish for credits at ur lfs but dont expect to make any money out of it.... u would of spent more money on raising them than u can get..... also i think it would be fine in ur garage over winter but check anyways....!!! by keeping an eye on it :D

krib, i know how tempting it is to keep adding more tanks to your collection
it is fairly easy to set up in a garage as you have most of the things you need already there, ie. power, lights, walls and a roof!!! if you are lucky you will also have a tap as well for water changes.
make sure that you have good insulation all round your planned fish room and i would suggest a channel to drain any spills from your tanks.
a friend of mine has built a shed in his garage for his tanks it helps with extra insulation and still leaves space for his wife's car!!!

thanks guys is there any chance you could get some pics of your friends tanks and set up to see what i need and how to do it also how will i keep the tanks warm what do you mean by insilation.
cheers guys krib

I have to disagree on this. Ive been breeding fish for quite a number of years now. With a little bit of hard work and proper planning I could easily make a comfortable living from it.

Thats true but you really need a lot of tanks...and it really also depends on the type of fish. ;) For example with guppies...no, Discus....probably :D
