Hi I'm Ellen. Just started keeping fish about a month ago and much to my delight I woke up a week and a half ago with seven black molly fry that came from a fish I didn't even know was pregnant. We lost one of them, but the other six are doing great. So I had to rush out an get a seperate tank and buy books on fry raising and this has been way more complicated than I could've imagined. I just wanted a few fish for my grandson to watch. I came on this site because my friends fish was having a problem and our experience at the fish stores has been inconsistent and I'm finding that we're being misinformed on a lot of issues. I've lost a few of my other fish due to high ammonia levels in water which I've been treating. I'm hoping that I can gain the knowledge from participating in this site that will help me to be a successful fish owner. Thanks for being here to share your experience with me.
