New Fish Help

Ok I am not a newbie when it comes to fish but I am having a little problem that I need help with. Dose anybody know anything about Cusk Eels. I bought 2 last night at a pet store that told me that they would do fine in my tank with the gouramis, angels, killifish, cat fish, tetras, and a knife fish. Well one of my smaller killifish is missing and one of the Cusk eels is really fat. What do I do?

Also have a red tail shark, bala shark and one mono in the tank. The mono will be moving to my brackish water tank soon.

Well, it could be anyone of these, assuming the shop actually got part of the name right...

Ok that helped a little. This is a fresh water fish and all I can find are the salt water cusk eels. It really looks like a catfish that has mated with a knife fish. Don't know what to think of this new fish. I am thinking that the store got the name wrong. It dose resemble the salt water cusk eels only that there is only 1 small fin on the top of his body??? Confused!
