got 3 new fish today. my most local place had just had delivered (and i i mean just, they were still being acclimatised in their bags) 15 "females" but once they were released it was obvious that a few were PK males two were squaring up so i said id take them to save her trying to find available tanks for them, as every tank that has "suitable" tanks mates already held a male. the two males i got are a cambodian red PK and a marble-ish cambodian blue/purple PK. i also picked up a cambodian YELLOW female. she looks very thin, but il feed her up and hopefuly she will be ok.

my concearn is for the blue male, i saw him rapidly flick his head to the side a few times. ive only seen him do it once and it was as he was moving thru some java moss, so mabey it was just irritating him. but what could the flicking mean? last time i saw a male do this he died the following day from a collumaris infection. ive treated the tank with anti fungus and finrot(which says it treat collumaris as well), as both fish had a little bit of fin damage and their other neighbour (my white DT) also has a small amount of fin damage.
