New fish bagged-up just burst!!!

Bought some Siamese Algae Eaters today got back to the office, whent to take the plastic bag out of the paper bag the bottom of the paper bag split and before I new it the plastic bag with the fish in falls straight to the ground and bursts with the fish flapping around in a little puddle of water Managed to get them in the tank straight away but obviously no slow introduction to the tank. The worst part is I bought them for my home tank and they will have to stay in the office tank until I get a fish bag from the LFS. They look ok and are darting about and eating.

Wow ! you are very lucky indeed that you had an office tank in the first place. Otherwise complete disaster

Hope your betta survives , they are very tough little fish so he has a good chance but, what an experience for the little fish to go through !

As I understood it, it's SAE's and not Betta's

Yep, two SAE's no Betta's. Just checked them again they are feeverishly hoovering up the two algae wafers I have just popped in there for them. I think everything ok.
