New Firefish Goby

I just got a firefish goby as my first fish in my 20g tank with 20lbs of live rock.

I dripped him for about 3 hours and introduced him into the tank. The next morning (total time in tank is about 11 hours right now) I found the firefish behined my live rock in a little cave.

I'm wondering if this is natural behaviour or maybe he is just getting used to his surroundings?

He remains upright and wiggles his tail every 5 minutes or so and keeps himself anchored underneath the live rock with his high dorsal fin.

So is my little guy ok?

yes that is normal behavior, firefish tend to be timid and stick close to their cave.

Most likely yes. They usually pick out a 'darthole' and that becomes their residence. I have had 2 so far. One was out and about all the time. The one I have now spends more time hidden than swimming. SH
