New Filter

i want to upgrade with an extra filter.. currently using a penguin hang on filter..
was thinking about a canister filter.. anyone got any suggestions?

Why are you wanting to add another filter? What is your tank stocked with, and is it planted?

Eheim, and Fluval are good brands. If you want to stick with a hob, but one with more media options, Aquaclear is an excellent brand.

Canister filters are pretty good. They have a pretty large amount of media, which means lots of bacteria. Is the hang-on a bio-wheel?
