Hi everyone , I was thinking of getting a new filter for my tank , because personally i think that the one i have at the moment is just too slow . What i have at the moment is an eheim ecco 2234 which supposedly runs at 500 lph and has a filter capacity of 3L . When the filter gets the smallest amount of debris in it it slows down to nearly a stand still . My tank is 250L and i was thinking of getting the new version of the aqapro 2 . It has i think a 4.6L capacity and runs at 900lph , so even whith a little bit of debris it should still have a steady flow for the tank . What do you guys think on this idea as i will be hopefully making the jump in the next few days so please feel free to give your suggestions .
On another note i made a little purchase today . On reading bloozoo2's recent post on him breading the ammano shrimp i went out and bought a dozen cherry shrimp . They look great !!! small and red hopefully they will breed
fingers crossed . And i also bought a pair of opal dwarf chiclids which look nice in amongst the plants , will post some pics on them soon .
