Sounds like some good matching up to me. Are you expecting much variation in the fry of the CT/Azazel spawn? What kind of colours are you expecting, since the girl seems to be MG. I'm not too sure what to expect from that spawning, but I do believe you wouldn't just randomly match them up

I'm breeding the CT girl to Astaroth, not Azazel... Azazel would be a good match too, but that's way too boring, I'd know exactly what to expect. They'd just throw copper and blue metallic CT plakats until the end of time

I think the CT female comes from copper lines, as I asked for a spawn sibling to the copper CT plakat male the seller had listed. He also had a MG CT plakat male though, I'm not sure if they were brothers or not... either way, the female has metallic blue on her, which means she'll throw some coppers for me when bred to a copper. It would be cool to get some MG out of it too, but that won't come until the F2 I'm sure... maybe I can get some copper gas out of the cross

A replacement for Siren, who was killed in a spawning mishap. She has better colour than Siren did, but not as good a shape; I think she might have a good deal of wild blood in her. Either way, what other copper DT plakat female am I going to find?

Your probably not interested since you are already getting a copper DT female, but there are some copper/marble DT females at BC bettas. Plus, they're in Canada and the shipping is a little pricey. Just thought I would post anyway!!

Thanks for the heads up, I don't normally check BC Bettas. The girls are all gorgeous, but they're also long-finned, which unfortunately I'm not interested in at all... they're better than the girl I'm getting though, it's just too bad they aren't plakat.
