New Female Betta =)

She's a bit of a plain Jane, literally browns. will get pictures up as a can. What tail type is she? Her rays branch of into two, thats a VT?
Just acclimating her now. Will she loose the two dark bands along her body or will they stay with her?

Bettas do seem to go paler when stressed, in this case from moving tanks! The two horizontal bars show when breeding, and also stress. They wil fade in about 24 hours when she is nicley settled in! Has she eaten yet?

Well that explains her rapid colour change on her fins! She's got 2 large dark stripes and a couple smaller ones across her body. I've offered her bloodworms and flakes but she just spat them out, so I'm thinking she might have been fed pellets, but I don't have those currently.

dark lines running from nose to tail are stress lines and will go away with good care of the betta. she may be a totaly different color. I have a marble breed girl that looks like a different fish when she is stressed.
