Morning all,

My name is Dan, new to the forum but not new to the fishkeeping world. Have been keeping large tropical setups for the last 10 years and currently working on a new nano project that has me captivated but has also led me to the forum. I say nano, its a 15 gallon cube but a different world to my usual.

Hopefully I can pass on just as much knowledge as I can take from everyone on here and I want to share my journey in to the nano world with you all.

Best,

Dan

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Do you have any fish currently in big tanks or nothing now and just getting into nanos?

Nothing else at the moment, with other commitments I decided to pack up the larger tanks for now as I couldn't give them the attention they deserve. These nano set ups - though you need to be wary of sudden changes - are much less demanding on time but still allow me to be involved and keep some amazing fish! Thoroughly looking forward to the new venture.

Enjoy. Must confess I was quite aprehensive when I started mine (Fluval Flex in my case). As you say maintenance is effortless and water changes an absolute doddle.

Yes very much looking forward to it. Will be posting my build in the planted tank journals section so hopefully can share some experience and learning with others too. Water changes on 15 gallons I can do in one bucket but that's 3 or 4 on a 60!
