Hey everybody!!!

Brand spanking new to Tropical fish, got tank set up now, just can't wait for fish to go in!!!

Set the tank up last night, dechlorinated water and I am adding Aqua Cycle to water tonight to help bacteria along.

Going to add a couple of mollies to water Sunday/Monday then who knows!!!

My water temp is at 27/28 celsius, 82/84 fahrenhuit, is this a little bit too high and could this do with coming down??

Also, any suggestions as to what to put in tank with mollies would be greatly appreciated, I am thinking of some Corydoras as I am looking to go for all South American fish

Thanks

John

Hello mate ;)

I'd lower the temp to 24 but do it slowly, over a period of a few days.

Good luck with your tank ;)

Welcome to the forums. You can turn down the temp by turning down your heater, leaving the hood open, and/or leaving the lights off for certain periods. Theres also declorinated ice cubes you could make, but it rarely drops the temp enough to make a difference.
