wow, never seen them before. Just had a quick look on planetcatfish and i noticed you've already got them on your "my cats" bit.

great photos and stunning fish, are you keeping them in a species tank or with tankmates?

thanks, Tom

they are currently in my 42g tank, which is mostly danionins and blue botias.
even at adult the should pose no threat to any fish, but I have plenty of tanks
to move them to, should the need arise.

Sweet fish, saw some a few months ago in a zoo that were about 1.5' long (assuming they are the same sp.).
Where did you get them from?

how big are they?
they are about 3-4" at the moment. every where seems to say 10" max as adults
but they said 12" for C.apus and mine is 18", so we will see :shifty:

Haha yea, I know what you mean

They look alot bigger in the pics. Are they more actice then your C.apus? I know
you had trouble getting a photo of the slippery fella :shifty:

I take it their fast growers too?

Maximus

they are more active than the C.apus but i'm guessing that is because I have more than one.
they do seem to know when the camera comes out as they hide from it.
more pics as and when. :good:
