new driftwood

Went to the local river this weekend to collect driftwood..these are just three of the pieces out of about 20 that I picked up. There are literally thousands of pieces at this part of the river,right below the dam.Some piles are 6 ft high and 20 feet wide..it all washed there after the flood.

Ignore the dirt on my carpet..driftwood is a lil messy..lol

I never priced the big sizes around here..the 11 inches pieces are 30$ and are just a stick..nothing neat about them,so I figure this stuff would be pricey if I had to buy it...even if it wasn't,I love going out collecting

Actually I've never seen pieces that big , was guessing , I bough two pieces , probably about 1/5 the sizes of yours about 7 years ago , like 15 to $20 each , last year there was nothing left of them but the slate and a screw

I've lived with my black cat almost 20 years , never thought about throwing her at anyone .

Yeah , the deaf white kind , my Pop packed the tank up and put at the curb , think I was three years old , that was the beginning of my fish keeping career , and the end until I turned 9 and promised not to throw anymore cats in the tank
