Good to hear he is ok, I have seen a few one eyed fish, the only one I owned was a goldfish which was quite hardy until it mysteriously disappeared.

I have a one eyed fish too! I'm always so amazed at people who can take clear shots of fish like danios. All I can get is a blur!

Is that a leopard danio? I have a one eyed leopard, they gave it to me for free with 5 normal ones, one of the normals died, and i can't tell the diff between the rest

I also have a one-eyed fish, a neon tetra who disappeared for a couple of days and I thought he was dead Imagine my surprise when he reappeared after me searching for him and after changing the substrate from gravel to sand which should have flushed him out immediately!

Yes he is a leopard (brachydanio frankei) he just has large spots
I'm reliably inform that this is very close to leopards that are in the wild,
the ones with small spots are what is deemed "nice" today, and therefor this is what is bred in great quantities.

I have two females like this, see my avatar for a pic of one of the girls.
love to breed them.
