Hi,

Im down to only two male bettas and a few females, so i went out to a new shop today to see what they had in and ended up with 2 new girls and a lovely new CT boy Unfortunately I have a crappy "temporary" camera until my proper one is fixed so the pics are really bad, but i thought i'd post up anyway as i have ntohing better to do

He looks to have really weird finnage. He's not fully flaring in most of these pics, and they probably wouldn't show it anyway ( ) but when he flares properly the edges of his caudal rays cross over like X's Really strange.. Probably a defect but i liked him anyway His colour hasn't come out in many pics, but he's blue, red and black!

I'll hopefully have my proper camera back in a few weeks so shall get more pics of him then

Anyway, here's the pics... Oh, and before anyone starts moaning, the little bowl is a temporary quarentine home until he goes into the divided tank with the other boys

sweet i have some females in exactly the same bowls. great lil things. Anyway, he is a beauty and i only wished i could get bettas like that from my LFS

Thanks, i was quite suprised as the bettas seem to be really bad quality around here at the moment and i just cant afford the imported ones anymore

He's settled in nicely and his colours have got a lot brighter - He's so pretty!!

I shall work on some better pics of him!

Im in Gloucestershire. This boy was from Aquajardin (the big chain aquatics store!). Its a new one that i've not been to very often. They only had this CT in and had reduced the price to £4 as he was 'fin damaged'

next time you go just nab all the "fin damaged ones" and you've got yourself a profit excellent fish you have there by the way
