New Companion for my Angels?

I'm thinking down the road a couple of weeks here. With getting my new angels, I want to make sure they have plenty of time to settle in and feel at home and make sure everything is going to be OK for them.

After I get them settled in, I'd like some more tankmates for them and have always been fascinated by the kissing gouramis. I was thinking of adding 2-3....

Do kissing gouramis (or other gouramis, my lfs has a couple HUGE golds and some neon dwarfs) go well with angels or are they too nippy?

Im not sure how big kissing ones get but im pretty sure angels and gouramis will be okay togather. Blue gouramis are more the same size of the angels

Thanks Kissing gouramis get to about 8". The ones they had at my lfs were pretty small, about the same size as my angels are now. I would start with something that's no bigger than my angels are now for sure. I don't want my little angels getting picked on! The smallest is about quarter size and the largest is a bit bigger than silver dollar sized.

I have 3 angels and 3 dwarf gouramis together and they are all happy, good luck with yours

Kissing gouramis get very large and have a tendencyto suck on the side of angels... very bad choice IMO!

Thanks Ken. I thought they maxed out at 6-8", but after doing some more research I found they could get even bigger, up to 10-12" so with your input they're off the list for sure. Too bad, I really like them!
