Im such a pic whore...

i think its a red velvet discus if i'm not wrong. you can try googling it

I love the orange Discus, orange my favourite colour.

I have the tank size for Discus I think Rio300, just not the experience :(

First discus is my favourite, stunning :D. Great pics, cant wait to see more as you get to know the dslr :D.

What kind of filter intakes do you have there? They look great for tanks with fry and shrimp in them, with the sponge over the intake.

Those are gorgeous discus, the colours are fantastic!
Keep up the good work Jim!

The orange discus was sold to me as a Marlboro Red but I'm starting to have my doubts as it hasnt developed the same patterns as the other one I bought at the same time.

I have 5 Discus and 3 Rams in this tank.

The filters are a Magnum 350 and a Whisper 40, the sponges over the intakes I bought at the LFS, they came in a plain package and were just sold as prefilter sponges, I simply put them over the stock intake pipes. They are one of the best purchases I made, my filters dont get nearly as nasty as they did before. All I have to do is take those sponges off and rinse them in the sink.

The new camera is a Pentax K200. Im not using any filters and just an old 80-28mm lens that I had on my old 35mm Pentax. The reason I went with a Pentax camera is It works with any old pentax lens so I only needed to buy the camera body. However, I probably will buy a better lens after christmas.

Thanks for the comments guys

Cheers,
Jim
