New Camera, New Pictures!

I got a new camera for Christmas, so here are a few pics I have taken with it. I'm still messing around with the settings and everything, but here they are!

Cool! What camera did you get? Shrimp shots can be rather hard, it obviously working for you.
The riccia looks very vibrant with that lighting, maybe I should get me some.

It's definately not a fancy, professional camera. It's the Fujifilm Finepix Z10fd- 7.2 megapixels. It has a ton of features, though, that I have been messing around with.

And I'm only shipping the riccia to the US right now. It'll be my first time shipping, and I don't want to risk international just yet. Otherwise I would be happy to give you some!

I thought it would be cool to try a few black and white because I have never seen it done before.

Look at the plants in those two pics . What's the crypt (think its a crypt anyway lol) in that second shot with the cory?

The black and white photos are cool, black and white photos really benefit form upping the contrast in any photo-editing software though .

I'll definately try adjusting the contrast on black and white pics when I find more time.
I got the crypt from a local plant club's auction. I believe it's Cryptocoryne x willisii
