New Boys Are Coming Tomoro!

So due to unforseen circumstances i found myself with a spare £40 today (this happens to me NEVER!)

So i decided to treat myself i went out already knowing that i needed a heater (again due to unforseen circumstances) so i went to the shop and picked up my normal 25 wat brand then i spotted another of a different brand for a pound cheaper so i picked up the pair thinking what the heck

I then took a stroll by the tank seeing the usual betta when i happend to take a peek in the girls tank, i spotted one very pretty young one who to me looked like a hmpk male!!!!

So i wandered back over to the tanks and thought to myself "i do need a hospital tank anyway" so picked up a 12 litre plastic do.

Then i thought i really like that little "girl" but as i don't drive and was taking the bus i didnt think it was fair on the fish.

So i've decided tomoro i'll go get him/her! And another boy for my other free tank.

I shall be a very happy bunny.


So all in all:

Spent today

Heater- £10.99
Heater-£9.99
Tank-£11.99

Spending tomoro:

Fish- £1.45
Fish-£5

Goes to show what you can do with £40 and a betta bug lol

The what i suspect is a hmpk as they are selling it as female but i'm not sure

Sure was aggressive n flaring all over the place and nipping, so either a confused male or a feisty female lol i can't wait.

I won't sleep tonight lol trouble is i don't know which shop to go to first as one is in huddersfield (the one i'm getting my little "lady" from) and one is in sowerby bridge where i will be getting the other boy from.

Huddersfield is alot further and i can get to sowerby much easier so i think i'll go to hudds first then sowerby.

Cannot wait to get something other than a VT was a lovely blue/red one too.

Weather it was boy or girl it deffinatly had hm in it so HM girl or HMPK boy.

Ps dont worry about taking fish on the bus, depending on how long its for they'll be fine =] imo its no worse than a car lol

My new frog came on the bus today and my dwarf puffs an hour in the car, they can be hardy. But then again, if you have wangled a lift more the better!

Yea but i was already wrestling with a tank and bag of heaters to get on the bus lol banged into a pole twice and got laughed at

I cannot wait to bring him/her home i really hope s/he is still there most likely will be, no one pays attension to the girl tanks much, there was a lovely whit pink male suspect in there too but i already have radish and he's a pinky boy so i'm going to go for a variety lol just finnished setting up the new rescue/hospital/quarentine/temporary home tank up and guess what

It fits right on my desk i love having them near me whilst i type.
