New Boy & Girls

Hey guys and gals

Well i have been pleasently surprised recently as my other half decided she wanted a betta boy for herself

So we went to FIVE lfs to find one she liked the look off with no luck we were leaving what was to be the sixth when i noticed a couple of tanks we had missed in the show area where this lfs shows off its tanks for sale i remembered they have a couple set up just to show what could be done with them as we wandered i noticed a cube set up in the corner and went over only to find a red VT swimming around showed it her and she falls in love with him even though they had the same colour and tail type in TWO of the other LFS

So here he is meet
"Rufus"

His fins are a bit tattered but am currently treating with regular water changes that are working well and he is eating as if he is pregnant too lol.

In one of the lfs i noticed female bettas for sale and yep you guessed it i ended up with two more that makes it five girls and two boy bettas in my collection now
Got a little red girl and a little blue girl

Well, of course she held out for Rufus - it's not the colour but the personality.
Besides, he needed her...

And congrats on your pretty new girls - never can have too big a harem, lol.
