I had a 5 gallon quarantine set up for them but the impeller is no longer working properly. I thought it needed a simple cleaning so I do that and then it works for maybe 5 minutes then it just stalls up. So now they're residing in a 18gallon orange tub with maybe 5 gallons of water in it, a heater and an air wand to keep the water moving until I can find a replacement impeller buried in a box in the shed at the back of the yard. It's 9pm and I'll never find it in the shed at this time of night.

Just hope the fish survive the night. Fortunately, they are probably the cheapest fish I've bought so monetarily I'm not going to be set back but I'd hate to take dead ones back to replace them either. The teenager who was catching them at the store wasn't the most experienced either. I was about to ask him if I could catch them and be done with it when he got the last one (6 total).
