New Betta!

:hi: Your little guy is so gorgeous and obviously a happy little fish.
Congratulations to you both!
How appropriate that he's schooling, so to speak...
And especially wonderful that you like him for his personality, and don't regard him as an ornament.
Aren't Bettas wonderful pets?

Thanks. He's a cutie, and I can't believe how quickly we've "bonded"! I've only had him for a week and 4 days. He's a great little guy and I love having him. :)

:) He is just like my Neptune! And Neptune is an inquisitive litttle chap, and so funny!

Neptune sounds adorable! :D

What a great name! He is REMARKABLY similar to Duncan! ( see my sig )

Welcome to the forum! Ollie looklike my first betta Fred. I know veil tails are common but they are my favorites. My little female Fauna loved to harrass Cory, the cory cat. She would chase him around the tank. She would eat her food then try to eat his.

I live about 45 minutes from Balt. in a small town called Dunkirk MD. I am close to Washington DC.
You have a great fish store called House of Tropics, located in Glen Burnie, MD. It is probably 15 to 20 minutes from you. I will try to get the address if you are intrested.

Sure, I'd love to know the address!

The address for House of Tropicals is 7389-F Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie MD 21061. The store is located at the intersection of Rt 648 and Rt 176. Both of those roads have an exit off of Rt 97, which is located off of Rt 695. If you're completely lost, sorry, just do mapquest. I don't know how well you know the area, it's really easy to find. The hours are 10 am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 11am-5pm Sun.

The store is huge, selection is great, and prices are reasonable. If you have any questions or need anything PM me through the forum.
