New Betta! :)

Hello everyone!

I got a new Betta fish. Well, technically he's my brothers, but he doesn't like fish all that much, but I bought him a Betta anyway; I thought it'd get him into the hobby a little.

The new Bettas name is Harrison, but we call him Harry for short. He's got a grey face, and a blue body. His color changes depending on the light. Sometimes he'll be blue, sometimes he'll be green, and sometimes he'll be purple!

His new home is in my old, small fish bowl that I used to use for Toby. It is a temporary home, until a new one can be bought.

Harrison is not photoshy at all! I brought out teh camera to take a picture of him, and he daintly came right up to the glass and posed. I'll show pics later pf the lovely Harrison.

Bad Harry!

Harrison is being a bad little Betta. Okay, so here's the deal. I put some flake food in for his food, before realising that maybe it wouldn't work out. The food sank to the bottom before he could get it. And it was dirtying up his bowl. So I gave him a dried red grub instead (which I feed my other bettas). The flake food that sank to the bottom started floating around the bowl after he ate the red grub. So he started to eat the flakes too! So, thats almost like, four flakes and a red grub he ate. I hope this isn't bad!!! I didn't mean to overfeed him. ' I didn't think he'd eat the flakes after they sank. How do you send a Betta to the naughty chair?

When my opaline gourami was being a pain in the butt I put her in a jar for a little while, and it actually fixed her attitude problem! The thing is...bettas are used to that whole small jar/living space thing...foiled again!!!

you should nickname him DIRTY HARRY
