New Betta

I got my female betta. She is very pretty her color is green with 2 purple stripes on each of her sides!

if the bars are diagonal that means stress bars and if they are vertical that means breeding.The bars are not always a good thing.

But hers are horizontal. What would that mean?

Horizontal is stress stripes. Vertical is breeding stripes. Never seen a betta with diagonal stripes

They'll go away eventually. Some fish take longer than others to settle in. Once she's sure she's in a safe place and gets used to her new home, the stripes will go away
