New Betta, what to put him with?

My lovely betta musashi sadly died last night
I want another one but i want to put some other lovely coloured fish in too, seeing as all it has now is a plecy, what would be nice to live with a betta and would you advise putting them in at the same time so that the betta doesn't get terratorial?

I am so confused, a 72 litre tank with one fish does not look good

Sorry to hear about Musashi.

Tankmates for the new betta? Hmmm.... maybe some white cloud mountain minnows? They're pretty, hardy and very peaceful. Your tank is 19 US gallons, so you could have about five to seven white clouds.

And yes, I would put them in all together so the betta doesn't get annoyed when new arrivals are put in his tank.
