New Betta New Set Up

I bought myself a new betta He only has driftwood right now but I was worried that he might rip his fins on it?? Is it likely that he will??? I completely forgot to get him some java moss..

He seems pretty happy, once he settled in, he pretty much hasn't stopped swimming around the place. Doesn't seem to mind the filter, swims around near the outlet...

Well, it certainly sounds like he's happy with it. I wouldn't think he would tear his fins on it, as long as there are no sharp edges.

I think he will be ok... mine is fine with his wood... if he does rip his fins just take to wood out and get some sand paper to smooth off the sharp edge!

My friend taught me a good trick to determine what should / shouldn't go in a betta's tank... take a pair of tights and lightly trail them over the ornament / plant. If it snags tights, it'll snag your betta's fins.
