New Betta Help Please!

hi i have just bort a betta,


in the pet shop she was nice and red then in the car home she went brown.
her bag is now floating in my tank. the bottom of her body is slightley red


is she ok? ( one minnute she was red next she was brown)

It could just be the lighting. I have a pair of pants that in the light of my room are brown, but anywhere else are green. It's really weird I have no clue about her underside though. Hopefully someone more expirienced will come along and help you. Good luck with your new betta!

dont worry tom your female is probably a bit stressed from being scooped out of a tank put in a bag and being driven in a car

as soon as she gets in your tank at home she will settle down and her colour will come back give it a day or two to get settled.

Agreed, she's probably just stressed, turn off the tank lights and let her chill for a day or so, she'll be just fine
