new betta fish cycleing?

hi all! i was asking some questions in beginner, but i figuered i would come here since i have a betta right now!

He's all white with blue eyes and a small amount of blue on his fins! hes very cool! Right not hes flying solo in a 10 gallon with some drift wood. I plan on adding a few plants for him, and after the cycleing is done, a few fish. Frogs and otos was what we came up with that sounded very cool!

my question, with this little betta, how ofter should i water change? once a day very three? i know about 15-20%.. right? thanks a lot!

Do you keep him in an aquarium or a display case?, i clean my display case once a week and do my aquarium a 1/4 every month along with rinsing the filter, it al varies with the amount of fish and your filter

sorry mis read? i just water change as much as nessacery to keep all levels within your fishes tolerance after all you need the bacteria to multiply i just remeber for amonia 0.02 mg/l is dangerous, nitrate around 0.3 mg/l, nitrate 20mg/l these or what i have alway been sticking to and never had any problems,
