I was going to buy this to help me clean my tank but I'm only new to this fish keeping things so I'm not sure if it's a good buy or not can you please let me know your thoughts

I dont really see the point in using them. A simple syphon is a lot cheaper, wont break, and you never have to change batterys or bags. You are going to have to do weekly water changes anyway so why not vaccum and drain the water at the same time? just my opinion.

There's no pump with a syphon.
It's all about gravity!

You must place a bucket lower than your aquarium and drain the water into the bucket with syphon.

Standard syphon start at ~3$ and they last forever

I got one to get between rocks and decor in my aquarium, does not work

I've got one there not even that powerful and takes ages to pump the water in or out of the aquarium.
