Last friday i added my first two fish to my new tank (two mollies). On Saturday morning one had given birth to six babies!. As these are the very first fish i have had i was amazed that we had new babies within 24 hours of buying them.Obviously one of the fish was pregnant when i bought her but on looking at them i have discovered that i have one male and one female.
Please can someone tell me how often they will breed? am i going to end up having hundreds of babies if i keep them in the tank together?? :

the short answer is yes, you will end up with squillions of babies!
you should have a ratio of one male to at least three females, preferably more, as the male will harrass the females continually to mate. Leaving the fry in the main tank will limit the numbers a little.

some lfs will tke them, some will give store credit some won't. u can also get another tank and when you get enough you can sell them off the paper or craigslist.
Good luck and congrats.
