We woke up this morning to 8 tini baby Dalmation Mollies, I have managed to net them and place them in the plastic box fed them ground up fish flakes, is there anything special I should be doing now?

It's seems like you're doing everything just fine! When they're larger than the adult's mouths, they can go into the community tank. Also, you can get a small tank to put them in so they're not cooped up inside the breeder net until they're big enough. I've read that baby brine shrimp is very good for fry, but I haven't managed to get my hands on some myself. :) Another point is that the lower the temperature, the slower they'll grow, but the longer they'll live. It's just the opposite for raising the temperature. Obviously, don't make it freezing in there; make sure that all of the fish are comfortable. Platies mature at 3-4 months usually, but I don't know for mollies. I'd imagine that it's about the same. Just keep doing what you're doing, and before you know it, you'll have 8 healthy adults swimming around you're tank! :good:

Just an update on our 8 little babies, we have moved them to a nice 10g home and they are loving the space. I was really not ready for babies and completely panic stricken at first but have found this whole experience fascinating to watch and now find myself watching them constantly. The posts on here have been such a help, thank you.
