New Artificial Plants

I just ordered some artifical plants through the mail. When they arrived I found that the base was a small piece of lead rather than the normal ceremic. Should I fear putting lead in my fish water?

I don't think it will be a problem, I've seen lead weights at my LFS being sold for live plants. That said, I've never added them to my tanks so I can say for sure. Sorry that isn't a very good answer.
