Due to unfortunate circumstances my 25L tank is now home to fourteen cherry shrimp.

I only paid for ten.

The tank was cycling since the 8th July using stability and filter media from my community tank.

I have since discovered one female shrimp is as yet unfertilised and another is fertilised.

A good vendor will send extra shrimp, usually 1-2 in case of DOA. You have a generous vendor sending +4.
Not sure why that's unfortunate, and congrats on the berried shrimp, good way to quickly boost that population.

Unfortunately I lost the original inhabitant I had planned on keeping in the tank.
