Hi,

I'm new to aquariums but am looking to set up a planted tank with South American plants.

I'm looking at a tank about 63litre (L-60cm, W-30cm, H-35cm).

I wouldn't really want to be setting up with CO2 so was after a bit of advice on what may be suitable. I've been looking at the following for example:

Amazon Forgbit
Brazilian Pennywort
Green Cabomba
Red-Brown Cabomba
Amazon Sword
Dwarf Sword
Pygmy Chain Sword
Corkscrew Valisneria
(any other suggestions welcome)

I'd only be having the plants in the back corners thinning towards the middle and don't want plants to carpet the whole tank, just certain areas. There will be wood in there as well.

I'm after some advice on which plants would be suitable for this size tank?

Cheers,

Dave
