New Air Pump

I have just bought a new air pump for my 125ltr tank. I may be being totally thick here but my whole tank is covered in tiny little air bubbles now.

Will my tank stay like this forever?

Or do i just need to leave it for a few days to settle down?

The same pump is in the same tank in my LFS and it looks perfect just with a curtain of air bubbles going up the side.

Could i have done anything wrong?

If its a brand new tank that is uncycled it will have bubbles as there is no Algae etc to stop the bubbles sticking to the glass. Once the tank is cycled the bubbles will vanish

My tank has been up and running for about 9 months now, but i did do a 40% water change today aswell. I don't know if that will be the problem.

It is a Hydor Turbo ARIO 4 air pump if that is any help and even on the lowest setting it gives off a really fine mist of bubbles.

It looks really rubbish, but the same pump in the LFS looks excellent. It is really noisey too.

Why is nothing ever simple for me
