I was looking in a new (to me) lfs today for a small filter for my fry tank
and "low and behold" I saw a tank full of dwarf danios (Danio nigrofasciatus)
so Having just one I had to buy 5 to keep him company, didnt I?
On the way to the checkout I saw some really nice pair of Killiefish
(Aphyosemion australe) well you know what? Yes, that's right I had to have them as well.
Now I am at the tills about to pay for the fish and I saw some cheap plants
Alternanthera reineckii ''roseafolia'' ('Pink') 3 for a fiver, so
you guessed it, I brought them as well
Never did get the filter thing for my fry tank, oh well there is always tommorrow.

just out of interest how many danio's do you actually have now - or are they impossible to count?

And how many species of danio have you not got- If any??

Good luck with finding the filter - Next time you go shopping - Avoid walking past the tanks first - go straight to the boring bit of the fish shop

yes I have been a cheesehead for approx 16years

current total is 84 +70 or so fry.
As there are over 100 species available in the wild but only 36 available to the aquarist (at the moment) I have 13 species, not including my hybrids) so the answer is 23 species that I have not got.
