There just slate caves, yes they are for the BN's to breed in but i personally just like the look once there in the tank lol

Nice one I love galaxys. They are pretty hardy too. I still have a few of my origionals that I got in March 07. Think im up to about 20 now haha

I noticed one of your posts from around then about breeding, did you manage it in the end?, they are stunning fish and more is on the cards, as i said above just wanted to see how these actually got on first. Ive never kept them before and liked them for a while now, luckily enough i found a place that sells them ... Mine have settle well and seem to love the tank space so was thinking of around 20 in this tank and maybe more in some others (the other half will be pleased im spending more money AGAIN lol).

Yup they bred a few times but only a few fry at a time and I didnt really try to raise them since it was such an effort for such a low number of fry. Now that they are in a much larger tank I've not seen any fry.

Thanks hun, love caves and wood so its an ideal setup for me , each to there own but i quite like the simplistic look as you say and i think it works well lol... well my fish seem happy enough so
