Hi all, thouight id show my partners new betta, im not the biggest of fans but he is quite cute and seems to like his new home, a bargain for 50p

Thankyou, he's in my 40litre planted tank on his own well a few snails but it's his tank either way now lol.

WOW hes quite spoilt tohave a tank like that! Puts my little 28ltrs to shame Watch out....bettas grow on you like chocolate does at easter

Im afraid all my other tanks wouldnt be suitable for anymore (way to overfiltered and flow is at silly levels ) but knowing the other half more tanks could always be a possibilty lol.

oh and i dont eat chocolate lol

Whathave you used as your subtrate on the bottom? It looks like a layer of gravel with sand on top?

It's aquasoil capped with sand for better plant growth

The dirt wont rise above the sand so it doesnt collect dirt anyway, but the tank has a built in filter at the back and so far so good tank seems stable and stays nice and clean so fingers crossed it will stay like that lol.
