Went into my LFS last Sunday and came back with this tiny Picasso

I really am old enough to know better but he is so cute

oops !

All the more reason to get another tank!

Just go the full monty and go 8ft!

Its gotta be big for your fish right? I reckon 6 ft?

I'd call a 90, or even 75, gallon tank enough for a full grown humu humu. They typically only reach eight or nine inches in captivity.

Wow so (naughty I know and I have told people its not nice) If I got a miniscule trigger I would have a fairly largeish timescale to get a bigger tank?

I have seen a 2 inch trigger at my lfs and he needs a new home :(

:)

Depends on the species

Picassos can grow quite quickly

You also need to be careful of their tankmates

Many types of triggers can be very aggressive to other fish and will much many inverts

Blue Throats are a good choice as they don't get to big and are reef safe

Nigers arent too bad but can grow very quickly and can get very big

Mine is the smallest fish in the tank so shouldnt be a problem for a while

My lagoon trigger is currently the largest fish in the tank at slightly under three inches. He used to attack the puffer because of his similar shape and swimming style.

oh stop it now, I really shouldnt get a picasso!!

My tang is too much as it is (it is and it isnt, but it is according to the police)

:)
