i just bougth a new 46 bow front all glass tank with a 250Watt heater and 2 Aquaclear 50 filters(200 gph for each).its going to be semi planted.with 2 nutrafin Co2. and i have about 2.1 wpg.

This is what i was currently thinking:

starting out with like 4-5 Discus
and selling them off later as they
get bigger.

-10 cardianls
-4 corys
-couple of shrimp

do you think that would work, any other advise, recommends on differnt fish.

why not just keep the discus in there they get to 6.5" MAX this is like 26 (for 4) or 32.5" (for 5), just have a tank for them. maybe lower the amount you get. i would either decide on having the discus or not. i wouldn't buy the discus and then sell them later. this would be a waste of time and money as you probably won't be able to get the same amount back for them.

im getting the Discus derect from the breeder at around 2-2.5 inches that cost about $5-10 then as they get bigger around 4.5'' my local fish store will give me 1/3 of the price that they sell them and theres are around 50-60 dollars so like 15-20 buck and that way i can keep the ones i like more then the other or if i get a breeding pair.

do you guys think my plan will be overstocked?

very smart business on your part. being i know that info... go for it. as for the stocking i would wait until you finish up with the discus raising before you add any other fish. then your stocking will be fine and be able to add some fish as well.
