I am soon getting a 29 gallon or 30 gallon tank, which I think are basically the same. It's an upgrade from my two ten gallons. Does anybody have any suggestions as what to stock my new 30 / 29 Gallon with. I have so far, 2 bettas(Male), 2 Scissortail rasbora's, 2 Black tailed shark's, 3 African Dwarf frogs(had 4, but one died unexpectedly :( ), 6 tetras (2 Black Skirt's, 2 Red eye's and 2 Neon's) and 4 Snails (one of them is huge, one of the smaller snails can ride on it's back, with enough room for one more). Don't worry, the two bettas are in different tanks.

sorry didnt read the end

Congrats on the new tank! I'm afraid mine is going to be the old boring advice- up the numbers of the schooling fish. Should look good though.

youll have trouble with the 2 black sharks being together.

they should be ok whilst there small but they turn into mean buggers as they grow up!

mine trys to claim a 3ft tank as his own.

as for what to add.

get some gouramis. loads of different colours in the species and great lil fish.

What are the names of those algae eating fish that attach their mouths to the tank and you can look at them and it looks like their sucking on the tank. Well, if anybody knows, can they go with snails. I think their usual color is brown.

Would it be ok if I got a baby, and as soon as it gets bigger either give him away or get a bigger fish tank.

I dont think the sharks will take long to fight with eachother I had 2 sharks together for a few months and then they wouldnt leave eachother alone so one had to go :( Also I would up the number of your tetras so they school more. You can get one of them dwarf plecos. I forgot what they are called. also Dwarf gouramis are lovely fish

Sam uk my red tail shark did the same thing got to about 5 inches and wanted the whole 3ft tank to himself little bugger my key holes held there own tho they rock

I've had them for about 3 months and haven't done anything. How many more of each kind of tetra should i get. Does it matter.
